A large amount of drugs was detected from a residential house in Nangarhar

The Ministry of Interior (MOI) announced in a news release that a large amount of narcotics had been detected in a residential house in Jalalabad, Nangarhar province.

According to the news release of (MOI), the anti-narcotics police carried out a targeted operation on a residential house in Jalalabad, the capital of Nangarhar province. As a result of the operation of the anti-narcotics police have been discovered, 4225 tablets of the drug "Ka", one kilogram of hashish, some alcoholic beverages and 158,000 Afg from the income of the narcotics that have been sold and one person have been arrested in connection with the case.

Drug trafficking in different provinces of Afghanistan has been going on for years, as in the previous week, the Anti-Narcotics Police Forces followed several operations in Kabul, Kunduz, Kandahar, Badghis, Helmand, Badakhshan, Parwan, Nangarhar, Takhar, Faryab, Balkh provinces and nabbed 25 people for drug trafficking.

Also in last two months, 15 smugglers from 7 provinces of the country, 7 other in Badakhshan, 3 drug smugglers were detained at Hamid Karzai airport and a large consignment of narcotics was seized in Torkham port.
