Corona Third Wave Warning; People over the age of 50, immigrants and displaced should get vaccinated

The Ministry of Public Health says, the process of applying Covide-19 vaccine to people over the age of 50, immigrants, displaced persons and people with chronic diseases has also begun

currently ten categories of people in the community are involved in the process of implementing the corona vaccine ,Dastgir Nazari, spokesman for the Ministry of Public Health said. According to him, these ten categories include 20% of the country's population who are to receive the corona vaccine in the first step.

Recently, Abdul Hakim Tamna, the director of public health in Herat province, warned from third outbreak of the coronavirus, especially in Afghanistan. Mr. Temna posted on his official Facebook page, there is enough vaccine. He wants from the people over the age of 50 to take Covide-19 vaccine from health centers all over Herat.

The process of applying vaccine began on the fifth of March. Previously, only health workers, security forces, media workers and educators were given priority in implementing the corona vaccine.

Afghanistan has received nearly one million doses of corona vaccine from India and Kwax. According to the Ministry of Public Health, more than 51,000 people across the country have received the corona vaccine in the last 40 days.
