Kabul started Saturday with two explosions

This morning Kabul city was witness of two explosions caused by magnetic mines in the fifth and tenth security areas of the city.

According to Kabul police station, first explosion took place in Pol-e-Kompani area, Kabul's fifth security district, which did not cause any casualties.

The bomber struck shortly after noon in front of a police recruiting center.

The second explosion took place in the Salim Karwan road area at 10th police security district. According to eyewitnesses, one person was killed in the blast, but Kabul Police Command said, four civilians were injured in the blast.

According to eyewitnesses, a Corolla car was targeted in the explosion.

Meanwhile, Kabul city on Wednesday also was witness of four explosions caused by magnetic mines.

The security situation in Kabul has recently deteriorated. Targeted assassinations and the detonation of magnetic mines threaten lives of the citizens in the capital day by day.
