Investment on production and processing of rose perfume in Nangarhar

Ministry of Industry and Trade says investment on rose production and processing in Nangarhar has increased.

In a press release, ministry of Industry and Trade stated that a perfume factory and processor operating in Nangarhar province had increased its investment in the sector.

Afghani rose factory, which started operating in 2013 with an initial investment of one hundred and thirty thousand Afghanis in the perfume production sector, has now increased its investment to one million and three hundred thousand Afghanis.

The factory supplies roses from Achin, Darreh Noor and Spinaghar districts of the province; In rose harvest season, it has a daily production capacity of three to six tons of rose and has provided the ground for work for a large number of residents of Nangarhar.

On the other side, the Afghan Rose Perfume Factory last year obtained one hundred and ten thousand liters of rose water from one hundred and ten tons of rose and exported its products to some foreign countries.

Rose, due to many medical reason , has been used in modern and traditional medicine and also in health and food supplies.
