Pakistan maintain progress in US agreement with Taliban

Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has expressed hope that progress will be made in implementing the US peace agreement with the Taliban.
In a meeting with Qatar's special envoy for Pakistan, Qureshi said he hoped the United States and the Taliban would continue to implement the terms of the agreement. He added that the agreement has helped in initiating inter-Afghan peace talks in Afghanistan.
The US-led peace deal with the Taliban was signed after six months of negotiations in Doha, the capital of Qatar, on February 2020 last year. currently about 10,000 NATO troops are in Afghanistan as part of the Resolute Support Mission, that among of them 2,500 are US troops.
